Rev. Marvin E. Hill co-founded Rivers of Life in 1994. He is the son of Rev. Dr. W.T. Hill and Ruth Howard Hill, who themselves were well known in Western Pennsylvania. Pastor Marvin is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute of Chicago (1970) earning a certificate in Pastoral Theology and Christian Education. He then earned a TH.B degree from the American Bible College of Florida, a TH.M degree from Andersonville Baptist Seminary of Georgia, and a TH.D from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He also attended Carlow College (now Carlow University) in Pittsburgh as a Music Major with concentration in piano and voice. His ministry experience includes: Bible Teacher for Lazarus Tomb Coffeehouse, Resident Director of Teen Challenge of Western Pennsylvania, and Vice President of the Gospelite Outreach Ministry. He is not only a pastor/teacher, but a musician and a songwriter. One of Pastor Marvin’s greatest joys has been being married to First Lady Diana for almost 40 years. They are the proud parents of three successful sons: Benjamin (Samantha), Clifton (Katherine), and Marcus, and also the grandparents of Janaye, Bretlyn, Jeremi, Deja, and Celestria.
